Among the hills of Chianti, Nonno Guido tends his olive trees with care. Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino, and Correggiolo olives are harvested at the ideal moment and pressed quickly to preserve their organoleptic qualities.
The result is a limited production of just 318 bottles of extra virgin olive oil with a harmonious profile, marked by herbaceous notes of freshly cut grass, hints of artichoke and almond, and a green color with golden reflections.
Its balanced bitterness and lightly peppery finish reveal a high concentration of polyphenols: an intense, clean extra virgin olive oil, deeply rooted in Nonno Guido’s agricultural tradition.

the nonno
The second edition of NONNO is dedicated to Guido, born in 1955. Born in the city—in Milan—but drawn to country life from a young age, he earned a degree in agriculture and began to make his steadfast passion for farming the guiding principle of his life choices.
After his early years in Romagna, he chose the hills of Barberino Val d’Elsa—in the heart of Chianti—as his home. It is there that he raises his four “mushrooms”—as he affectionately calls his children—and tends to his olive trees: he cares for them with a patient, quiet dedication that seems to belong to another era.
Dreaming of a John Deere, with a bit of Mozart playing in the background, a fire crackling in the fireplace, and his hands covered in dirt, Guido continues to experience the countryside as it was once done: without rushing to finish, but with a constant need to do things right.
Today, that same care is shared with his daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, in a family story that continues among the olive groves of Chianti and takes shape in this new limited edition of NONNO.
